Dudley and Sandwell Cycling

Sandwell

Cycling in Sandwell originated from an initiative by people in the Sandwell Health Authority and Sandwell Agenda 21 in 1997. It is now a growing Local Agenda 21 partnership made up of over 550 individuals and 20 organisations who want to help with getting more people out and about on their bikes in and around Sandwell.

The group works to keep people informed about what is on offer to all types of cyclist and is actively involved in putting together plans for safer cycling routes and better facilities for cyclists in Sandwell.

People who live or cycle in Sandwell and wish to join, should contact the group. Membership is free and they should indicate whether they would like a copy of the Cycling Strategy and information about the group's meetings.

There is also information on Sandwell MBC's website, including a downloadable Cycle Route Map.
